Principal's Welcome

Kia Ora e te whaanau,

On behalf of the Staff, Board and our school whaanau, I would like to welcome you to Ngaaruawaahia Primary School.

Our mission is for ALL tamariki to reach their full potential. We are committed to providing a range of learning opportunities so our aakonga are curious, engaged and extending their thinking.

Ngaaruawaahia Primary School has a rich history in education spanning over six generations and it is a privilege for me to lead a passionate and dedicated team of professionals who give their everything to provide high quality educational experiences.

Tamariki are our top priority, their learning and their safety. We are proud of the educational, sporting and cultural opportunities that we offer. Our timetable is set out to give aakonga a variety of curriculum experiences throughout the week so they can become life-long learners.

The partnership between home and kura is an important feature here and we take pride in the high level of commitment and loyalty that is apparent amongst Staff, Board and our School whaanau.

We are on a new and exciting journey as we look at ways of enhancing our curriculum delivery and what we can offer our school community. We are constantly reviewing and reflecting so we are meeting all tamariki needs.

I welcome all to come talk with me about how Ngaaruawaahia Primary School can be the kura for your tamariki.

Welcome to our place!

Nau mai, haere mai
