On behalf of the Staff, Board of Trustees and  our school whanau, I would like to welcome you to Ngaruawahia Primary School. 

Our mission is for ALL tamariki to reach their full potential. We are committed to providing a range of learning opportunities so our akonga are curious, engaged and extending their thinking. 

Ngaruawahia Primary School has a rich history in education spanning over six generations and it is a privilege for me to lead a passionate and dedicated team of professionals who give their everything to provide high quality educational experiences. 

Tamariki are our top priority, their learning and their safety. We are proud of the educational, sporting and cultural opportunities that we offer. Our timetable is set out to give akonga a variety of curriculum experiences throughout the week so they can become life-long learners. 

The partnership between home and school is an important feature here and we take pride in the high level of commitment and loyalty that is apparent amongst Staff, Board of Trustees and our School whanau.

We are on a new and exciting journey as we look at ways of enhancing our curriculum delivery and what we can offer our school community. We are constantly reviewing and reflecting so we are meeting all tamariki needs.
