Kia ora N.P.S whaanau

I can’t believe we are already at the end of week 3!

Ngaa mihi nui whaanau for turning up at student conversations yesterday. This is a great opportunity to see what your tamariki are learning, how you can help at home and how we can strengthen our relationship between home and kura. These relationships between home and kura are absolutely vital for the success in your tamariki learning. If you were unable to attend yesterday, please be in contact with either the office or kaiako as we’d love to connect with you to celebrate the progress that has been happening with your tamariki.

A huge shout out to our kaiako who have done an amazing job collecting and analyzing data as they wrote reports setting out the learning plans for our akonga. It is evident each kaiako knows their akonga well and have set goals and the path for success over the coming year.

Netball is in full swing for the season and it’s great to see so many of our tamariki joining in. Thank you to all the coaches who are investing in our kids.

We have a lot happening within the kura over the next fortnight. We have Life Education coming in, Digital Fluency professional development in akomanga, inter-school hockey and soccer training in the lead up to the big day, Pink Shirt day, feast workshops (with our lunch provider), celebration assembly and Matariki week preparation. School photos are coming up as well.

Don’t forget to watch out for dates, times and updates as we would love to have our whaanau involved in the life of the kura.

Have a great weekend, keep safe and as always pop in to see me if you have any queries.

Noho ora mai
