It is with incredibly deep sadness that we share the passing of Kiingi Tuheitia Pootatau Te Wherowhero Te Tuawhitu. Te Kura Tuatahi O Ngaaruawaahia (Ngaaruawaahia Primary) express our sincere condolences to the Kaahui Ariki during this time of loss and sadness. 

Staff and whaanau will be involved in preparations next week and the kura will also be opening up to provide accommodation. As such, we ask that students learn from home Monday 2nd September - Wednesday 4th September. Kura will remain open on these days with limited staff if you are unable to keep your tamaiti home. Class kaiako will be in contact via classdojo around home learning (online). On Thursday 5th September and Friday 6th September the kura will be CLOSED. 

We appreciate your understanding during this time of mourning.
