My name is Coby and this is my second year teaching at Ngaruawaahia Primary School (NPS).
Born and bred in Ngaruawaahia, I am an ex-student of NPS and our local kura tuarua,
Ngaruawaahia High School.
I graduated from Waikato University in 2020 and decided to remain local and give back to our
community by applying to teach at home.
“I strongly believe that a classroom should be an environment where children can feel safe, are
free to speak their mind, blossom and grow. I aim to ensure that all students are put at the
center of learning, where our classroom community will flourish with student-led learning. It is
my desire to create this type of atmosphere where all students can strive to meet their full
potential.”
